Am I Actually the Strongest? anime release date and cast announced
Am I Actually the Strongest? is a light novel series written by Sai Sumimori and illustrated by Ai Takahashi. The series began publication in May 2019 and has five volumes published as of October 2021.
The second promotional video for the upcoming anime adaptation of the light novel series Am I Actually the Strongest? was released on June 9, 2023. The video revealed the anime's release date, July 1, 2023, as well as the main cast.
The anime will be directed by Shingo Ōnuma, who previously directed the anime series The Misfit of Demon King Academy. The series will be written by Deko Akao, who previously wrote the scripts for the anime series Food Wars! and The Rising of the Shield Hero. The character designs will be handled by Takahiro Kishida, who previously designed the characters for the anime series Bungou Stray Dogs and Fire Force.
The main cast of the anime includes:
- Yūsuke Kobayashi as Shingo Ichinomiya
- Akari Kitō as Rin
- Inori Minase as Myu
- Saori Hayami as Sara
- Nobuhiko Okamoto as Kuro
The anime will be produced by the animation studio SILVER LINK. The series will be streamed on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

The anime adaptation of Am I Actually the Strongest? is expected to premiere on July 1, 2023.
