The Story

When Tanjiro Kamado's family is brutally murdered, he decides to become a demon slayer. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps and trains in order to defeat the upper-rank demons who attacked his home.

The third season of the popular anime series Demon Slayer continues to follow the story of Tanjiro Kamado, who becomes a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered by demons. The anime is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, which broke several manga sales records in Japan and worldwide.

In the third season of the series, Tanjiro travels to the village of swordsmiths where he encounters multiple upper-rank demons while waiting for his blade to be repaired. This will be a challenging battle for him and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito to take on.

Characters

Tanjiro Kamado and his friends are preparing for the new season, which will delve into the manga series’ Swordsmith Village arc. This new episode is set to air on Fuji TV in Japan on April 9.

Another big returning character is Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, who we saw in the Mugen Train storyline. She has a very special ability to reshape her body in order to attack a demon.

The Swordsmith Village arc will also feature the return of ruthless demon king Muzan Kibutsuji, who has been seen murdering people on a regular basis. This time around, he will be voiced by Toshihiko Seki (Japanese) and Greg Chun (English).
