Dr. Stone is one of the most popular anime series in Japan, and it has managed to amass a massive fan following worldwide. The show features high-quality storytelling, a likable cast of characters, and a unique plot.

The series, which is based on the manga of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, revolves around a mysterious light that turns every dweller of the world into stone. The story follows the scientific prodigy Senku Ishigami, who is determined to help resurrect humanity after the petrification.

In this episode, the group sets sail for an unknown destination. However, a few problems arise along the way.

To make things easier, Ryusui invented a scale model of the ship. This allows Senku to accurately copy the pieces to make construction run smoothly. As a result, the group can now begin their journey to the other side of the world.

New Season Hype

After a year of exciting adventures, Senku and his friends will face their biggest challenge yet! The Kingdom of Science will sail across the sea to reach the other side of the world.

The third season of the series is titled “New World.” It will answer the mystery behind what caused the petrification that swept across the world. It will also see the re-emergence of some characters that we met in the previous seasons.

This new season of the anime will have a total of 12-24 episodes. It is a split-cour season, which means that it will be divided into two parts.

Episodes drop every Thursday and will be available for watch on Crunchyroll. They will be in Japanese dubbing with English subtitles.

Based on the manga by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, Dr. Stone is produced by TOHO Animation, Shueisha, and 8PAN.

After a year of hard work, the Kingdom of Science has finished building their ship. As a last hurrah, Senku and Minami take a commemorative photo with the ship they've been working on.

Now that the Stone Wars have come to an end and former members of Tsukasa's Empire of Might are now part of the Kingdom of Science, Senku and his crew are ready to set sail. They plan to cross the open ocean and seek answers to the mystery of global petrification.

They start the journey aboard the ship with Ryusui as their captain. The ship is packed with a crew that includes Senku, Chrome, Kaseki, the power team, Yuzuriha, Ukyo, Kinro, Gen, and Francois.

While they're out on the sea, they meet with unexpected presences that could slow their progress. Fortunately, they have Ryusui to guide them and bring them safety. However, there is still a lot they need to do before they can leave.

Release Date

The latest chapter in the long running saga is set to hit our screens in less than a month, on May 11, 2023. It will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll, and also Netflix for a select few territories.

It’s not all a smooth ride for the team of explorers, though. In the upcoming episode, Senku and crew will be battling the elements in order to reach their destination. It will also include a slew of new potential conflicts and intriguing narratives. It’s safe to say that Dr. Stone season 3 is one of the most anticipated anime sequels of the decade.
