Dragon Ball: A Show That Goes Beyond Flashy Fights and Transformation
Words said by Goku to Gohan when he is still not giving his full effort during the most important moments because he is still doubting himself feel so relatable and familiar because sometimes, when a problem is so big, it feels impossible to overcome
"Are you Giving up already? It may feel like cells weaken you, but what drains your strength is your doubt. Just don't listen to it."
These were the words of Goku for Gohan before the final kamehameha beam clashed with cell. Every time I hear these words, I feel like he is talking to me, telling me to defeat the inner demons that don't allow me to give my best, when I had my first breakup, or I lost my job or was in a situation where I found myself giving up these words bought me back to my senses and even if these words don't work. And I still doubt myself.
"What's the matter? You already have all the power you need. Just bring it out."
Words said by Goku to Gohan when he is still not giving his full effort during the most important moments because he is still doubting himself feel so relatable and familiar because sometimes, when a problem is so big, it feels impossible to overcome. When I start something and give up in the middle and stop it or avoid it, it feels like Goku is disappointed in the waste potential and like the good father he is to his son, he says "Will you stop attacking yourself? I don't know where you got this idea that there is something wrong with you, because there is not."
The name of this moment is father-son Kamehameha, but it feels like fan and teacher Kamehameha wave because I have no idea how many times I have watched the clip to get out of the trap of self-doubt, depression, and low self-esteem situation just by listening to his words, but no matter what, it brings me back on track and more vigorous, just like a Saiyan.
For me, Saiyan is not just a race. It's a way of life, and being super Saiyan is giving 100% to the worst situation so you become stronger and get out of it. Dragon Ball is the most Misunderstood show, and most people love it for the fights and flashy transformation. But for me, it's a blueprint for living life without dirtying one's soul in this wicked world.
The biggest lesson I learned from the show is the power of second chances, which allowed Goku to have so many amazing friends, including Piccolo, Vegeta, Tien, and many more characters.
Many people compare DBZ with Naruto and One Piece, but they forget that DBZ directly inspires the core concept of the main character from both shows.Even their creators loved Goku so much that they created a show that kept Goku's legacy. This means having a good heart, working hard for your dreams, and having dependable people around you who believe in you.
These things can give you success, help you get out of the worst situations, and keep you sane in this insane world. Saiyan is just another word for sane, and being sane is very tough as you grow old, so if you have the heart of Goku's desire for Naruto and people who trust you, like Luffy's crew, trust Luffy no matter how big the problem is or how senseless your dream is Someday, it will happen.
And no matter how many bad days you try to "Invade your mind or your body, but there is one thing a Saiyan always keeps his/her. Prideeeeeee !!!!!!!!!"
